Part-Time Academic Year Role | Digital AI Agent Initiatives
Position Summary
Kohler is seeking a motivated and technically curious student to continue and expand upon the AI Agent initiatives launched during our Summer 2026 Digital Internship Program. This part-time role provides hands-on experience in generative AI, agent development, automation, and enterprise technology while contributing solutions that support associates across the organization.
This role will build upon foundational work completed during the Summer 2026 Digital Internship Program, helping scale and enhance AI agent solutions that improve productivity, knowledge access, and business processes. The student will work closely with Digital and business stakeholders to design, build, and improve AI-powered solutions using modern Microsoft AI technologies.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain AI-powered agents and Power Apps / Power Automate solutions that solve business challenges.
- Build integrations between AI agents, enterprise systems, and knowledge sources.
- Enhance and expand existing AI solutions developed during the Summer 2026 internship program.
- Support testing, evaluation, and continuous improvement of agent performance.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge resources.
- Collaborate with Digital teams and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Follow security, privacy, compliance, and Responsible AI standards.
- Present project updates, demonstrations, and recommendations to stakeholders.

Position Details
Schedule: 20 hours per week during the academic year, flexible around class schedules
Duration: Academic Year 2026-2027
Extension: Role will be reviewed at the conclusion of the calendar year, with the potential for extension into 2027 based on business need, performance, and student availability.
Skills/Requirements
Required
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to learn new technologies independently.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred
- Experience with Python, JavaScript, C#, or similar programming languages.
- Familiarity with AI, large language models (LLMs), or AI application development.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, Copilot Studio, Azure AI Services, or related technologies.
- Knowledge of APIs, integrations, and cloud technologies.

The hourly rate for this position is $31.47/hr.
