Do you have experience executing marketing plans? Does the thought of working closely with the Communications team to create on-brand promotional assets excite you? If so, you could be the perfect fit for our Channel Manager-Lighting position!
The Channel Manager-Lighting will be responsible for coordinating with cross-functional teams in the development and implementation of marketing assets such as photography, video, sales tools, social media campaigns, etc. that will be used on websites, print ads, digital advertising, trade shows, television, and other tools needed to generate consumer leads. They will plan, forecast, and implement marketing programs and promotions for the channel, including special promotions, buying opportunities, rebate programs, co-op and ongoing support programs for the product category and market segments. Channel Manager-Lighting will also be responsible for providing ongoing analyses and evaluations of product trends, performance initiatives, SKU productivity, potential demand and use those analyses to increase sales and recommend changes or new products.
The ideal candidate for our Channel Manager-Lighting role will have the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field, MBA/MS preferred
- 3-5 years’ prior experience in sales, marketing, channel management, and/or product development with progressively more responsibility and a track record of results
- Entrepreneurial spirit to act quickly and think differently
- Must possess a keen creative mind, be strong on planning, detail, and accuracy
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills with all levels of management and outside contacts
- Must be able to multi-task
- Cross-functional experience is preferred
- Ability to travel as needed, approximately 15-20%
