Electronics Product Engineer 

Location:  Kohler, WI

Opportunity

As a member of a team of multi-disciplinary engineers, the candidate will participate in the qualification, support, and improvement of innovative Smart Home products. General responsibilities will include product testing, investigating customer complaints, and providing product training to other departments such as marketing, sale, and tech support.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Benchmarking performance of Smart Home industry products.

  • Researching new-to-market technologies and products in the IoT / Smart Home segment.

  • Benchmarking performance of Smart Home industry products.

  • Maintaining and updating as needed the Smart Home Experience Lab.

  • Participating in idea generation and Smart Home concept development.

  • Coordinating the testing of Smart Home designs by writing test plans, documenting learnings, and planning future iterations.

  • Opportunity to present work in front of a technical audience.

Skills/Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (electrical or electronics) with a minimum of 0-2 years of experience.
  • Familiarity with Smart Home products.
  • Class or project work in digital electronics.
  • Ability to use test equipment (oscilloscopes, meters, etc).
  • Preferred experience or course work in networking and wireless protocols.
